Teen Titans Summer -- OMFGBBQ

"OH MAN!" Cyborg squealed with growing anticipation, his hands waving in excited fists before him, one clutching tightly to his spatula. The sun was dimming in the sky, beckoning night and the eventual arrival of 4th of July fireworks, but that didn't matter to Cyborg now. All that mattered to him was the sweet, glorious aroma of hot dogs cooking on the barbecue before him. The scent was overpowering, his mouth dripping with saliva. He gave the rising smoke from the grill a great whiff, and swallowed back his drool.

"Almost done.... YEAH, baby! I love me some meat!"

A snort caused him to glance up. Sitting at the far picnic table was a very familiar green smirk.

"That..." the changeling said with a sinister grin, "is what SHE said."

Cyborg's face paled, and he sputtered with laughter. "Oh come on, that's not what I -- what I meant was, I love weiners--"

He hadn't even meant to use that specific word, and he stammered to silence as Beast Boy bent over double, hacking air, a cross between a laugh and a cough.

"Uh, Cyborg?" spoke up another voice, and Cyborg looked over at the spiky haired teen standing next to him with a plate in his hand, smirking a little himself. "I think the hot dogs are burning..."

"Wh-what?" Cyborg stuttered, then glanced at the grill. "AUGH!" he screamed, lunging forward and attempting to scrape the meat from the grate with his spatula, tears washing down his cheeks. "NO! I DON'T LIKE THEM ALL BLACK AND WRINKLY!"

Beast Boy rolled off the bench to the floor, snorting harder than ever. "THAT! IS WHAT! SHE SAID!"

"BEAST BOY I WILL SHOVE ONE OF THESE DOWN YOUR VEGETARIAN THROAT! I AM NOT JOKING!!"

"Mmmmaybe we should just order pizza...." Raven spoke up as Cyborg snatched up a burnt hot dog and bolted towards the now sprinting green teenager.

"Um, that is what was said?" Starfire asked with a hopeful look. Raven dropped her head in a mental facepalm.

"Uh, nice try, Starfire," Robin replied, almost apologetically, rubbing the back of his head. "Um, maybe you should just leave that joke to Beast Boy..."

"I WILL CRAM THIS DOWN YOUR THROAT!" Cyborg roared at the top of his lungs, chasing the green changeling past the other Titans with a deadly flare to his eyes.

"HAHAHA! THAT'S WHAT *HE* SAID!"

That's right. I had to write a story to accompany this! XD If I were any good at comics, and had any amount of patience, I'd do a comic. But I think this is great anyways.

OH YEAH I LOVE THIS!! I love the process I'm using! The tracing of the pictures and the coloring on the photoshop. I have just the right amount of layers and JUST LOOK AT THOSE COLORS!! Can you tell it's sunset? Cuz I sure can! XD

Lineart is pen and ink on bristol board, scanned into CS3 and colored accordingly!
